Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team.
The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and serving of food, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and provide excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the direction of the chef or cook.
- Serve food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Handle cash transactions and operate basic kitchen equipment.
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines.
Skills:
- Knowledge of basic kitchen procedures and equipment.
- Proficiency in basic math for handling cash transactions.
- Ability to sanitize work areas effectively.
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services.
- Upselling skills to promote additional food items or specials.
- Excellent time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Culinary knowledge or willingness to learn culinary techniques.
- Willingness to help team members as needed.
