This steel company is a producer of Hot Rolled, Cold Rolled and Galvanized Steel Sheet
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position you will be instrumental in implementing Lean Principles in an organization that is at the beginning point of the process. There is strong management support for cultural change.
Oversee correct deployment of TPS/Lean principles at steel manufacturing (melting, casting, and flat rolling) operating units .
Lead Kaizen Events and other continuous improvements initiatives post system implementation.
Develop A3 Team Problem Solving at the shop floor level.
Conduct organizational training.
Conduct detailed analysis of process and business level data to calculate project impacts to the business bottom line.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
BS in an Engineering Discipline
Five (5) years of experience in a flat rolled metals manufacturing environment. (Experience in other heavy industrial settings may qualify.)
Trained in Lean Manufacturing/ TPS techniques including Six Sigma methodology.
Toyota Production System (TPS) experience.
Experienced with the following elements of TPS: Establishing Flow, Value Stream Mapping, Standardized Work, Visual Process Management, A3 Methodology, 5S/6S, TPM
Experienced with the following software: MS Office, ChartRunner (or other SPC software, Oracle / Discoverer databases, SQL, SAS and other equivalent applications.
Willingness to travel approximately 25%.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
