Registered Nurse- ICU, 12 Week Contract
Maxim is currently searching for a Registered Nurse (RN) interested in working in Northwest Indiana. The opportunity is in a hospital setting. Must have ICU, ventilator, and trachea experience.
8 or 12 week assignment.
Position requirements include:
- Must have a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
- Must meet all health requirements, including 2-step TB and physical.
- At least 1 year ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities include:
Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
o Performs focused interview to identify specific patients needs.
o Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
o Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Qualifications include:
o Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
o Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
o Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
o Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
o One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
o Current BLS card.
